Below are just a few testimonials from students who have recently
graduated and from colleagues in home inspection training. Take a
minute to read them and see what other people are saying about our
program.
“Roland Borsato
of Advanced Inspection Training is a refreshing break to adult
education. As a carpenter I thought I knew everything I had to know
to become a qualified inspector. I found I knew little about a lot.
After taking the course I was fully confident to inspect homes and
deliver quality reports based on high
standards of practice. This course more than prepared me to pass the
CAHPI exams. Bringing his experience,
commitment to excellence and attention to detail makes Roland and
the Advanced Inspection Training course highly
recommended”. –B.B.
"I
had the privilege of attending Advanced Inspection Training’s Home
Inspection Program, taught by
Roland Borsato
.
As a university graduate, and a former policeman, I am no stranger
to the practical learning environment.
With this in mind I can not say enough good things about the
whole program and the engaging teaching methods of Roland.
Based on the Carson Dunlop material, the course content was
comprehensive and the program intense.
Roland brings his experience to the table and the class was always
instructive, always entertaining, and always contained real-world
examples that could only be conveyed by one who has been involved in
the business to the degree that Roland has". - A.L.
Roland effectively passes on
to his students the knowledge and experience he has gained from
his positions as Chief Inspector (HouseMaster), owning his own
inspection business and as Senior Instructor (Arbutus Inspection
Training) at 4 technical colleges. Communication
is an essential component of home inspection.
Roland’s students have consistently expressed very positive
comments relating to his communication skills, teaching style and
effectiveness in ‘getting the point across’. Roland
understands and communicates to his students the principles behind the
‘quality versus production battle’ that every home inspector must
learn to deal with and brings to the classroom anecdotes from personal
experiences in the industry while supporting and giving life to the
course texts. Roland
emphasizes inspection techniques and developing an appropriately
weighted inspection report. He ensures that his students gain a
realistic view of what a home inspection should consist of and what is
required to deliver the home inspection service. -D Waterman
